Provides access to 3 days of open studio time to collaborate & build community at ca.mp3, plus entry to a beat battle, a song competition, and more.

ca.mp3 is a community-focused songwriting camp hosted by Jack Vinoy in Nashville, TN aiming to help musicians build community and get educated on how the music industry operates. Established in 2022, ca.mp3 has quickly become a staple in the underground Nashville music scene by creating safe spaces that allow musicians to connect and collaborate.

ca.mp3 is sponsored by Adam Audio, BATON, Teenage Engineering, Focusrite, Ciari Guitars, Baby Audio, Electro-Harmonix, Novation, Artiphon, Red Bull, Wavesfactory, Synchro Arts, LANDR, and Sonnox.

We'll be hosting a food drive for The Nashville Food Project during ca.mp3, collecting brown rice, canola & olive oil, unseasoned canned black beans, and whole wheat penne/rigatoni for their community kitchen!

As sponsors of ca.mp3, Adam Audio, Focusrite, Ciari Guitars, and Novation have generously provided studio monitors, interfaces, guitars, synths and MIDI controllers respectively for use during the event! Equipment such as XLR cables, 1/4in instrument cables, and microphones will be provided by Top Track Studios for use in each of the studio workspaces.

It is recommended to bring any equipment that is generally essential to your creative process, such as computers, samplers, headphones, or instruments, just be sure to label your equipment with your name!

Open Studio time to collaborate with other ca.mp3 attendees! Please be courteous to other attendees and allow everyone time to use the studio workspaces.

Hopping in the studio right away with new people can be stressful, so get to know someone new during the social hour!

Beat Battle: 7pm - 9pm

The ca.mp3 beat battle returns with prizes sponsored by Adam Audio (T8V Studio Monitors), Teenage Engineering (EP-133 K.O. II), Sonnox (Toolbox Range Plugin Bundle), BABY Audio (Complete Plugin Bundle), Wavesfactory (Equalizer, Trackspacer & Spectre plugins), and LANDR (Ultimate Plugin Bundle). A sample will be provided via the ca.mp3 BATON community to repurpose into a beat, and participants will have one hour to make a 30-60 second beat. 1 entry per participant. Entries that do not use the provided sample will be disqualified.

Song Competition Entry Deadline: 8:00pm, entries are submitted via BATON

Song Competition Playback: 9pm-10pm

The Song Competition invites all participants to submit their songs made during the April 4-6th ca.mp3 weekend to compete for prizes sponsored by Artiphon (Orba 3), Electro-Harmonix (256 Vocoder), Focusrite (2i2 Recording Bundle) and Synchro Arts (Revoice Pro 5 Plugin). Prizes will be awarded to the team that creates the winning songs, and can determine amongst themselves who takes home each prize.

Group Photo & Goodbyes: 10pm-11pm
