Provides access to 3 days of open studio time to collaborate & build community at ca.mp3, plus entry to a beat battle, a song competition, and more.
As sponsors of ca.mp3, Focusrite and Adam Audio have generously provided interfaces and speakers respectively for each of the studio workspaces. All 5 studio workspaces will feature a Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 audio interface Adam Audio T8V monitors.
We'll be hosting a food drive for The Nashville Food Project during ca.mp3, collecting brown rice, canola/olive oil, and whole wheat penne/rigatoni for their community kitchen!
Equipment such as XLR cables, 1/4in instrument cables, and microphones will be provided by Top Track Studios for use in each of the studio workspaces.
It is recommended to bring any equipment that is generally essential to your creative process, such as computers, samplers, headphones, or instruments, just be sure to label your equipment with your name!

Open Studio time to collaborate with other ca.mp3 attendees! Please be courteous to other attendees and allow everyone time to use the studio workspaces.
Touring Panel: 7pm-8pm
Join a discussion with 3 Nashville-based musicians who tour for a living, and hear about the process of finding work as a touring musician, the experience of life on the road, and more. We will be joined by Phil Towns (keys player for Brandi Carlile, Dolly Parton and producer for Zayn) and Sam Skorik (touring drummer for Brad Paisley, Gyasi, and Olivia Jean). Guest speakers are subject to change based on schedule availability.

The ca.mp3 beat battle returns with sponsored prizes from Adam Audio, Sonnox, BABY Audio, Wavesfactory, and WA Production. A sample will be provided to repurpose into a beat, and participants will have one hour to make a 30-60 second beat. 1 entry per participant. Entries that do not use the provided sample in some capacity will be disqualified.

Mix Feedback: 5pm-6pm
Mix engineer Brent Hendrich will be in the building to give mix feedback on songs in preparation for submission for the song competition.
Song Competition Entry Deadline: 8:00pm, entries are submitted via Google Drive link
Song Competition Playback: 9pm-10pm
The Song Competition invites all participants to submit a song made during the November 15-17 ca.mp3 weekend to compete for prizes sponsored by sE Electronics and Focusrite. Prizes will be awarded to the team that creates the winning songs, and can determine amongst themselves who takes home the prize.
Group Photo & Goodbyes: 10pm-11pm
$35 presale tickets available starting October 8th, ticket prices will increase to $40 starting October 18th
